Midtown Multi Purpose Space by Rowena & Takashi

Rowena & Takashi, Inc. is launching midtown Sacramento retail & salon space in late 2009.  The new facility features an Elixir Bar, retail/shopping, Davines Multi Space Salon, Spa, Studio 99 and an event space in a 2 level 12,500 sf building.  The Elixir bar serves Elixir tonics; an alternative high-vibration beverage, Elixir fruit cocktails and light snacks.  The retail space features Davines, I NUOVI and other exclusive products including, professional salon tools, accessories, apparel, self-help books and international music.  The salon provides all types of hair services, hair, skin, body treatments and natural nail cares.  The lounge doubles as a meeting facility upon requests to host various events and shows during the non-salon hours.  For larger events and seminars, we provide a stage with a/v/l room on 2nd floor.  When we established our first location in the El Dorado Hills business park, we committed to assimilate and contribute to local culture.  After 8 years in business, we are moving forward to provide our celebrated services and enjoyable employment opportunity in a well-designed environment.

05/08/2007   2109 J building reevaluation - existing structure unsuitable for our plan
05/09/2007   2012 P building listed, visited - undesirable location
05/10/2007   2109 J building resurrected for its location, prepare to make an offer
05/16/2007   William King visits Sacramento and inspects 2109 J building
05/17/2007   2109 J building needs to be demolished and built new to suit our needs
05/18/2007   Additional funding necessary in order to pursuit 2109 J
06/12/2007   Perkins Commercial Group called us to consider Montaņo El Dorado Hills
06/16/2007   William King reviewed Montaņo and approved to proceed
06/17/2007   Montaņo pad D1 & D2 totaling 3,300 sf to be considered (see diagram)
07/03/2007   MARRS invited us to consider J & 20th facility
07/12/2007   2700 J St (Mosaic Salon building) is now for sale, location to consider
07/20/2007   Meeting with MARRS
07/21/2007   Meeting with Architect in L.A.
08/21/2007   New salon to be postponed until Feb 2009 due to the introduction of I NUOVI Professional, a new makeup line from Asia. 
10/20/2007  Desirable building on market.  The plan resurrected for revision.  920 20th Street.  building features two story, rehabbed brick, 12,500 SF, next to public parking.  Due to the large floor space, we are expanding our shopping space including cosmetics, apparels and tea & tonics.
03/24/2008  Revisit to 920 20th Street.  Initial meeting with Umpqua Bank and investor.
06/30/2008  Meeting with MARRS
